Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Airport West/Doral

I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean and the parking was free. They have complimentary laundry machines that are very well kept and the hotel has water fountains and fruit infused water in the lobby to keep you hydrated in the very hot Miami weather. The hotel has a very decent breakfast as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful. I had just had to move from a very bad hotel and was recommended this one. From the moment I walked in the staff was incredibly pleasurable to be around and made my stay that much more memorable for me. Specifically Andres, Santiago and Danni stood out, they were all incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable about any questions I had about the hotel property and information around the area. (Also very patient as I had lots of questions) The atmosphere they helped foster made me feel so comfortable that I actually extended my stay multiple times. The hotel was in a very convenient location for my family and I as well. This hotel will now be my first choice if I ever need another hotel stay in Miami. I highly recommend.

The room was very clean, bed comfortable, air conditioning good, and excellent breakfast (Greek yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, breakfast meats, breads, fruit, oatmilk, etc). The downsides were the air conditioner was VERY loud when it was on and with no way to leave the fan running, it woke me up every time it kicked back on. There was also a musty smell in the room that never went away after several days/nights... I'd still stay there again, though, and recommend it to others.

Just finished up a great stay. Staff was super friendly, hotel was clean and newer, same for the rooms, beds were comfortable, and it was just an overall great experience. I highly recommend. I wish I got on the Marriott bandwagon sooner. I have been a loyal Hilton Diamond member for years and have seen the decline in Hilton. Hiltons loss will be Marriott's gain. All of my recent Marriott stays have been terrific.

Overall a great hotel. The rooms are really spacious with a dedicated kitchen area, living room and then the bedroom. I was really impressed. There is a laundry room with two washer and dryer, compliments of the hotel.. although during my stay one single family monopolized the appliances the entire night and day I was there. The fitness center is spacious, basic and clean, and their equipment is mostly operational. I couldn't get the attached TV to work with my elliptical. The only real complaint I have here is with their breakfast. It's the worst I've seen at any Marriott, and I'm a platinum member and stay at approximately 20 per year. The selection is paltry and they close early, at 9am. Unacceptable
